7Up Pakistan’s latest marketing campaign turns ordinary people into stars
PepsiCo’s soft drink brand, 7UP has given the conventional outdoor advertising a twist by giving life-time opportunity to three foodies to co-create 7UP billboards with their innovative food creation.
In 7UP’s latest campaign, three people are selected: a blogger ( Madiha Hameed), an actress (Ayesha Omar) and a foodie Kiran Afzaal. They prepared their favorite food under the supervision of celebrated chef Saadat, which will feature on 7Up’s billboards along with their names.
It is simply amazing to see three different people belonging to different walk of life to celebrate their food for love by creating their favorite dishes with Chef Saadat – Ayesha Omer cooked the delicious grilled fish, Madiha Hammed prepared prawn masala served with rice and Kiran Afzaal cooked the yummiest Karahi.
While 7Up has always been the perennial choice of all the foodies it is interesting to see the brand giving them respect and love by proudly displaying their cooked meal on billboards. This is the first time any beverage brand has taken such an initiative and it’s truly commendable.
We simply loved the yummy dishes prepared by these novice cook and can’t wait to see them on streets.
