Adnan Sami denied the offer to produce Coke Studio Pakistan
When the music maestro Rohail Hayat said his good bye to Coke Studio Pakistan, there left enough options for organizers before they made their mind to hand over the job to Strings. Reports have now revealed that the organizers first offered the job to Adnan Sami Khan, the former Pakistani pop singer and now a renowned music composer in Bollywood. Reportedly, Adnan Sami Khan refused the offer made by Coke Studio Pakistan.
According to the Express Tribune, “among the possible alternatives to Rohail was India-based Pakistani pop star Adnan Sami Khan. He was reportedly the first option, but unfortunately, the deal fell flat. Though insiders told The Express Tribunethe deal with Adnan couldn’t materialise because he was asking for a lot of money, the singer suggests other reasons”
“Yes I was offered to produce Coke Studio Pakistan,” Adnan Sami Khan told the paper. “I didn’t end up producing the show due to an international tour and other prior commitments.”
According to the reports, Strings was the third option after Adnan Sami refused the offer and Meekal Hassan lost the opportunity because one of his Facebook post against Coke Studio.
