Bhenchod! Best Song I Ever Heard in My Whole Life: Ali Noor
In a recent video interview Ali Noor has surprised us with his bold views. He was asked about adult songs that they had released as a band. Clarifying the confusion he said “Kuttay was Noori’s song but Bhenchod was solely created by Ali Hamza”.
Upon asking if these sort of songs result in negative imaging of the band in the eyes of its fans, Ali Noor bombarded the interviewer saying “that’s your small mind, not mine. I don’t have a problem with it. YOU use those slang words, I use them too.”
Ali Noor further added that the context in which Hamza has written this song, he doesn’t think he has heard any song beautiful than this in his whole life.
For those who have no idea about the song background, it started getting popular back in 2002-03. It was never recorded in studio properly but made its space thru live gigs, as Noori boys performed the song on many of their gigs at that time. By 2005, it had gone really viral through internet. Consequently, it also inspired others to come up with similar songs like “BC Sutta” and “G mein Danda”.
Anyhow, in the same interview Noor tries to give explanation of the song. According to him, its a story of a woman sitting at river bank waiting for his husband, who has left her after getting married.
So, what would that guy be called except BHENCHOD? he insists.
