“Intimate scenes don’t appeal to my audience back home,” says Fawad Khan in recent interview to FilmFare
It has already been revealed that Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan will be featured on cover page of FilmFare magazine’s October issue. Few of the pictures from his photoshoot have already been released by the magazine. Now, the Indian magazine has also released a short interview of Fawad Khan, in which Pakistani actor talked why he avoids intimate scene in films. “Intimate scenes don’t appeal to my audience back home,” said Fawad Khan in his interview to FilmFare.
The FilmFare magazine asked him about rumours of him refusing big film offers because of the intimate scenes in them. The Pakistani actor revealed that he refused Bollywood film Battle of Bittora against his Khoobsurat actress Sonam Kapoor because of the passionate scenes in the film.
“See, doing intimate scenes is something I’m uncomfortable with right now. I’ve mentioned that a couple of times before as well. Because it will not appeal to the sensibilities of my audience back home. I have to go back and work there. I won’t be a girgit (chameleon) and change my colours just because I’m working here. Well, that’s my point of view,” said Fawad Khan in his interview. “Now that’s quite a strong statement,” wrote the magazine in reply.
