McDonald’s Kitchen Survey – Value Based Offering
In today’s time where every other day we hear about the launch of a new food outlet, and listening news about food outlets being shut down because of unhygienic atmosphere, unprofessional staff behavior or whatsoever reasons. It is very difficult to trust these outlets with the health of yourself and your family. In such scenario, how can a brand build their trust among their customers?
The answer was given to me by a TV ad I happened to see by McDonald’s where they opened their kitchen doors for general public. I was really impressed by this bold step by McDonald’s as this step answers all my questions. The first thing I want to know before eating at any place is what I am feeding myself and my family is safe to eat, taste comes second. So to witness their offer as a blogger, fortunately I am invited by Mc Donald’s to review the system they have.
I reached at the Sea View branch on time and was welcomed with a refreshing cup of cappuccino while I was given a registration form to fill while I was given the brief about McDonald’s ideology behind this brave move and how they are so confident about their work measures.
After getting done with the formalities, I was given proper uniform that included an apron, head cap and a beard mask. The branch manager personally gave the tour and explained the complete process through which McDonald’s serve the food to their customer. From buying material from authentic and halal sources to hygiene practices of the staff. From storing products in ideal atmosphere and to cook it under measured temperatures and clean oil. My confidence was being won at every step of the kitchen tour.
On the whole, I was satisfied with the quality of mechanism under which McDonald’s team work for us and realized how much work is being done behind my order of even one pack of French fries. I would definitely take my family and friends to McDonald’s without any fear of playing with their health.
