MQM Chief Altaf Hussain Quits Party Leadership
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain announced to quit the leadership of his party and delegated all concerned responsibilities to the party’s central decision-making body—Rabita Committee.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, Altaf Hussain subjected Rabita Committee to censure, maintaining that the body did not correct its behavior despite his frequent appeals.
“Now, I am not strong enough to withstand the disloyalties and sorrows,” he asserted.
Announcing to abandon the leadership of his party, Altaf Hussain called upon the Rabita Committee to select anyone who they choose for the top slot of the party.
The MQM chief maintained he will continue fighting for the truth till the last breath of his life.
