Ufone, this year, revives the true spirit of Ramzan!
Ufone very recently announced its new initiative that involves highlighting and advertising the unsung humanitarians of Pakistan. Unlike various campaigns and advertisements one comes across, especially for telecom companies, Ufone plans on utilizing this capital for the awareness of three initiatives this Ramzan.
All cost of the campaign will be borne by Ufone as an attempt to create a sense of social awareness among the general public. This way public can then support these initiatives in whatever way they can.
The three initiatives, Ufone has promised to promote are:
- Khana Ghar by Parveen Saeed.
- Operation Eid Child by Sharmine Aziz.
- Deewar-e-Mehrbaani by Omer Nasim and Daniyal Shah.
The brainchild of Parveen Saeed, Khana Ghar is a non-profitable organisation that aims to provide food to the needy in under Rs 3. This brilliant effort by Parveen Saeed has resulted in thousands of underprivileged individuals having two meals a day at a price that does not hurt their self esteem. If you think, you can afford something along these lines, you might want to take a step ahead and help Parveen Saaed, along with Ufone,
Operation Eid Child
Set in Islamabad, under the supervision of Sharmine Aziz is Operation Eid Child. This provides boxes of joys to the underprivileged children throughout Ramzan and Eid. This initiative highlights the true essence of the Holy month of Ramadan and the true purpose of Eid. You can always be of help and either help the existing NGO’s or start something on your own.
“Wadaan” in Peshawar have managed to arrange clothes and other necessities for the poor in the form of Deewar-e-Mehrbaani. This wall of kindness will be of help to hundreds of poverty struck individuals throughout Ramzan and Eid. Wadaan is playing its’ part in creating social awareness, you can too!
With celebrity endorsements taking over our televisions and billboards, Ufone has come with a fresh idea to promote efforts that need the awareness. It is only fair, we appreciate the effort and support these humanitarians in all possible ways!
